The Vulcan Hart 00-408279-00020 Gas Pressure Regulator Natural Gas 3/4"-NPT RV48 is a gas regulator that is used to stabilize the inlet pressure to a natural gas oven. It controls the amount of gas to flow to the burners, and this stabilizes the combustion and gives the heating the efficiency throughout the operation. The RV48 regulator has a 3/4-inch NPT connection and is fitted into the gas supply system of the oven to provide accurate pressure regulation in changing supply conditions. It is a common component in Vulcan Hart commercial ovens and is a vital component of safe operation.
