The Hobart 00-410841-00028 Safety Valve controls the flow of natural gas by opening when the ignition system is activated and closing automatically when the flame is not detected, or power is interrupted. Featuring a 1/2-inch FPT connection, 3.5-inch WC pressure rating, and 24 VAC/12 VDC operation, it operates with the ignition and pilot system to regulate flow during equipment operation. This safety valve is installed within compatible commercial cooking equipment, where it operates as part of the control assembly between the gas supply and burner system.
