The Hobart 410841-00018 Safety Valve controls the flow of natural gas by opening when the appliance control system initiates the heating cycle and closing when the gas supply must be stopped. It regulates fuel movement to the burner while working with the ignition system to maintain operation. Designed with a 1/2-inch FPT connection, 3.5-inch WC pressure rating, and 24 VAC/12 VDC electrical compatibility, this valve is installed within compatible commercial gas cooking equipment as part of the gas control assembly between the gas inlet and the burner system.
