The Henny Penny 38276 Safety Valve opens and closes the gas passage based on signals from the appliance's control system, allowing natural gas to reach the unit during the operating cycle. Equipped with a 1/2-inch FPT connection, 3.5-inch WC pressure rating, and compatible with 24 VAC/12 VDC, it operates with the ignition system to regulate gas movement and stop the supply when operating conditions are not met. This safety valve is mounted inside compatible commercial gas cooking equipment, where it operates as part of the gas control assembly between the gas inlet and burner section.
