The Dean 8160181 O-Ring 1-3/8" ID x 1/8" width forms a seal in the joint of two mating components by fitting in a groove and compressing upon assembly. The ring is deformed to fill in gaps as the parts are assembled which assists to limit the flow of fluids or gases through the interface. It is inserted in the special sealing channel of the compatible equipment, which is placed where the mating surfaces come together. The cross-section size and O-ring fit into place and are in contact with the sealing surface.
