The Frymaster FM8160181 O-Ring 1-3/8" ID x 1/8" width is a seal that fits into a groove between two parts that are to be assembled and compresses when the parts are put together to help prevent the flow of fluids or gases at the joint. When the components are tightened, the ring deforms to fill the gap and be in contact with the surrounding surfaces. It is installed in the channel or groove of the proper equipment a seal is needed. The groove size is proper to fit and seal the specified inner diameter and cross-section.
