The Frymaster 8160597PK O-Ring 1-3/8" ID x 1/8" width forms a seal with a groove between two parts that fit together and squeeze when the two parts are joined to prevent the flow of fluids or gases through the joint. The components are tightened together and the ring is slightly deformed to fill the space and be in contact with the surrounding surfaces.
