The Middleby Marshall A28067 Contactor is an electromechanical switching component with three power contacts that is activated by using a 120V control signal to energize a coil inside and close the three power contacts. As the control circuit is switched off the coil releases and the links are opened to stop the flow of current. It is installed within the electrical control panel close to the motors, heaters, or components of high loads. The three-pole design allows switching of three-phase loads in rated ranges of amperage.
