The Groen Z009574 Contactor 3-Pole 30 Amp 115V is an electrically controlled switch, which uses an internal electromagnetic coil to draw sets of heavy-duty contacts together. Once the 115 V control circuit is energized, this spiral generates a magnetic field that pulls the three poles together to complete the high-current electrical circuit to the heating elements or motors. This is fitted in the primary electrical control box of compatible commercial heat equipment. It controls the high-frequency switching of power required to ensure the operational temperatures remain constant during usage.
