The Intedge F1840 Safety Thermostat allows constant surveillance of the operating temperature in the heating circuit and automatically switches off at the preset limit to minimize overheating above the design threshold. It is mounted near the heating element of related commercial cooking equipment as a high limit. Referred to as type LCHJ, it has a temperature rating of 440F, making it proper for use in applications that require such specific operating features. Installation is usually carried out during initial assembly routine servicing, or scheduled maintenance.
