The Frymaster FM8070918 Direct Spark Ignition Module 5EA 1/4" Tab Terminals is an essential part that receives a signal from the appliance control board and generates a high-voltage spark to ignite the burner gas during startup. It continuously monitors flame presence through a sensing response circuit and, if ignition is not detected, initiates an 11-second lockout that stops spark generation and pauses the ignition sequence until conditions reset. The unit is installed inside the fryer control compartment, or cabinet, near the burner assembly and connects through 1/4-inch tab terminals for electrical integration within commercial systems and related equipment housings.
