The Bakers Pride M1481A Thermostat is an oven temperature controller that turns on the heating circuit or turns off. When the set temperature is attained by detecting the amount of heat in the oven with a capillary tube. As the internal temperature increases or decreases the thermostat will change the amount of power to the heating components or gas system to stabilise the chosen temperature. It is mounted in the oven control panel or the back of the front control assembly with the sensing bulb protruding into the chamber to keep track of the heat conditions inside.
