The Pitco P6071769 Grease Drain Ball Valve 1" FPT is a ball valve designed to control the flow of used cooking oil from the fryer, opening or closing the ball valve to allow or block the oil flow. It operates by rotating an internal stainless steel ball, which either opens or closes the flow path to allow controlled release of hot grease from the fry tank to a collection container system. This is a piece that is attached to the fryer's drain outlet, usually attached to the bottom of the fry tank with the 1-inch female pipe thread connection.
