The Pitco P9310-42 Grease Drain Ball Valve SS 1" FPT operates by rotating an internal stainless-steel ball with a central bore that aligns with the flow path to open or block the passage of hot oil and grease from the fryer vat. When the handle is turned, the ball rotates within the valve body, allowing spent oil to discharge through the 1" female pipe threaded outlet or stopping flow, controlling drainage during service cycles. It is fitted at the fryer drain port of compatible fryer vats and is attached directly to the grease disposal line that is placed in the lower cabinet assembly.
