The Southbend SOU1161452 Thermostat responds to temperature changes through its dial bulb and regulates the flow of heat by cycling the connected heating components during operation. As the sensing bulb detects rising or falling temperatures the control mechanism adjusts the heating output to maintain the selected cooking setting. This thermostat is installed in compatible commercial systems and similar foodservice equipment, with the sensing bulb placed inside the heated compartment and the control mounted behind the user panel. It features a 175°F to 500°F operating range, a 3/16-inch x 11-5/8-inch sensing bulb, and a 60-inch capillary tube for temperature sensing and control.
