The Montague 1023-5 Thermostat FDTO uses a 3/8" FPT connection to integrate with the control system while a 3/16" x 15-3/16" sensing bulb and 54" capillary tube detect temperatures between 150°F and 550°F. It responds to temperature variation by cycling the internal control mechanism, allowing the heating system to operate according to the selected configuration. This unit is installed within the appliance control compartment, with the sensing bulb positioned inside the heated chamber to monitor thermal conditions during operation. It is commonly used in commercial and foodservice cooking equipment.
