The Montague MONB40A Thermostat FDTO uses a 3/16-inch by 15-3/16-inch sensing bulb and a 54-inch capillary to detect system temperature, adjusting the gas supply to maintain settings between 150°F and 550°F during operation. Its mechanical mechanism responds as temperatures rise or fall connecting through a 3/8-inch FPT fitting to regulate burner output based on the selected heat level. Installed in incompatible commercial gas systems, the unit forms part of the temperature control system that manages heat throughout baking, roasting, and cooking processes.
