The Randell RDHDHIN400 Holding Cabinet Hinge Assembly works by using a cam-action lift system, which lifts the door during the opening swing to minimize drag on the bottom gasket. This mechanical design makes use of an internal helical ramp, which makes use of gravity to automatically roll the door back into a closed position once it is released. This assembly is mounted on the exterior corner of the cabinet and door, which gives a fixed pivot point to hold the weight of the refrigeration panel.
