The Hobart 00-344523-00002 Hi-Limit LCH Thermostat W/Manual Reset 490°F Fixed 1/4" X 6-1/2" Nickel Bulb is a temperature-sensing safety part. It operates the heat level and opens the control circuit if the preset limit is exceeded. It works by its sensing element recognizing a temperature increase and then automatically cutting off the circuit when the set limit is reached, it has to be reset manually to bring it back into operation. It is to be installed in the safety control circuit, wherein it will receive the wires and other control parts so that based on the temperature input, it can regulate electrical continuity.
