The Hobart XNC8X101 Hi-Limit LCH Thermostat W/Manual Reset 490°F Fixed 1/4" X 6-1/2" Nickel Bulb is the safety thermostat for temperature control, which senses heat and shuts off the control circuit when the predetermined limit is reached. It has a sensing element for temperature that makes and breaks the electrical continuity once the defined limit is reached and requires manual resetting to restore operation. The probe measures the temperature of that part where it is fixed and forms part of the thermal sensing section. It will make connections with the incoming and outgoing control wiring and control parts to regulate the electrical continuity of temperature.
