The APW 13801-00 High-Limit Safety Thermostat LCH uses a temperature-sensitive fluid system to detect heat levels within equipment and transmit those readings to the control mechanism. Upon reaching the fixed 450°F cutoff point the unit actuates its internal switch interrupting power to the heating circuit and requiring a manual reset before operation can resume. Featuring a 1/4" x 4-7/8" sensing bulb paired with a 30" capillary tube this nickel-plated part is installed in compatible commercial foodservice equipment where it is positioned near the heat source to monitor operating parameters and respond to over-temperature conditions.
