The Hobart 410705-00002 High-Limit Safety Thermostat LCH Nickel Plated is installed in compatible commercial cooking equipment, where its 1/4" x 4-7/8" sensing bulb is placed within the heated section and connected to the control assembly through a 30" capillary tube. When exposed to rising temperature the sensing medium inside the bulb reacts and transfers that change to the thermostat mechanism, allowing it to continuously track thermal conditions. Upon reaching the fixed 450°F limit the control contacts actuate to disconnect the heating circuit preventing further temperature increase until the system is manually reset and operating conditions are restored.
