The Hobart 410705-4 High-Limit Safety Thermostat LCH Nickel Plated interrupts equipment operation when temperatures exceed its designated 450°F cutoff point using an internal switching mechanism activated by changes detected at the sensing element. In a compatible commercial cooking systems the unit is mounted with a 1/4" x 4-7/8" sensing bulb positioned in the monitored area while a 30" capillary tube links the bulb to the control body. Thermal expansion within the sensing system continuously influences the control mechanism enabling the system to track heat conditions and initiate a shutdown response whenever excessive temperatures are encountered during operation.
