The Hobart 410705-00004 High-Limit Safety Thermostat LCH Nickel Plated responds to excessive heat through a remote sensing assembly that detects temperature conditions within the equipment heated compartment. Once the sensed temperature reaches 450°F, the system changes the state of its internal contacts stopping the flow of power to the heating system until a manual reset is performed. Designed for installation in compatible commercial cooking systems this part incorporates a 1/4" x 4-7/8" sensing bulb and a 30" capillary tube allowing the sensing element to be positioned at the monitoring point while the control body remains mounted separately.
