The Frymaster FM8102337 Filter Motor 1/3HP 1PH 50/60Hz is a replacement, part that drives the filtration pump in commercial fryer systems. It transforms electrical energy into rotational energy, via a shaft-driven system that drives oil circulation during the filtering process. It is normally used in the bottom service compartment of the fryer, and it is directly connected to the pump and filtration housing. It is used over normal frequency ranges in order to support the constant movement of oil and also to allow the oil to be returned to the system to maintain the consistency of the fryer operation.
