Groen GR9034 O-Ring 7/16" ID x 3/32" W is a circular sealing gasket that is inserted into a special groove between parts that are under pressure to limit the flow of steam, water, or other fluids. The O-ring is used in the assembly process where it seals the joint when compressed and assists in keeping the joint tightly sealed as the components are clamped together. It is fitted around shafts, fittings or connection points in steam kettles or similar equipment where a better seal is needed. Its groove has ring seats that squeeze together to form the seal in the system.
