The Vulcan Hart 00-836966 O-Ring 7/16-3/32" ID X 3/32" W is used to give a watertight seal between the parts in commercial steam kettle assemblies. It works by clamping between surfaces that are mating in order to avoid leaks of steam or liquid during heating and cooking periods. The O-ring is then fitted into the groove or sealing point assigned to the kettle and fitted correctly. It ensures integrity of pressure, aids in the uniformity of steam distribution and assists in the safe and efficient running of the equipment.
