The Pitco P5047216 High Limit Thermostat is a manual oil temperature controller that cuts the power to the fryer when the temperature of the oil rises above 450°F. It needs to be manually re-set so that it can resume its operation when the temperature goes back to safe levels. The thermostat can be installed in the commercial fryers where it can be mounted on the appliance to manage and protect the heating system by controlling the extreme temperature conditions.
