The Hatco 02-16-001A-00 Thermostat S 3/8" x 4-3/32" 12" Capillary is a part that controls the temperature setting of a piece of equipment. It works by sensing the temperature with a 12-inch capillary and switching the thermostat mechanism on when the temperature changes. This thermostat has a 3/8-inch x 4-3/32-inch sensing size and connects the control circuit of the equipment to manage heating operation. It is mounted at the specified temperature-sensing location so that the capillary receives continuous temperature from the place during normal operation of the equipment.
