The Hatco HT2-16-001A-00 Thermostat S 3/8" x 4-3/32" 12" Capillary is a part used for temperature control. It will sense the temperature for a distance of 12 inches along the capillary, after which it will switch the thermostat mechanism on in response to any change in temperature. The thermostat has a sensing configuration of 3/8 inches x 4-3/32 inches, and it makes and breaks the control circuit of the equipment to which it is wired, cycling the heating equipment on. It is to be mounted at the specified location for temperature sensing, where the capillary will continuously sense the temperature for the proper operation of the equipment.
