The Hatco 2-16-001A Thermostat S 3/8" x 4-3/32" 12" Capillary is a control that regulates temperature within a system. It senses temperature from a remote location through a 12-inch capillary and uses that information to switch the thermostat mechanism. The control has a sensing element of 3/8 inch by 4-3/32 inch. It also has an electrical circuit through which it can switch the heating cycle on or off. This system should be mounted at the sensing location, where the capillary can sense the temperature that is to be controlled and where it can sense the temperature for providing input for controlled equipment operation.
