The Hatco HT2.01.018.00 Contactor 4-Pole 40A/50A 208/240V operates by closing four sets of electrical contacts inside when a control voltage is applied to it using an internal electromagnetic coil. It is a means by which a low-power signal can be used to switch high-current loads across many points in order to drive heating components or motors. This will be enclosed in either the main electrical control box or the internal chassis of commercial foodservice equipment. The brackets and terminal screws are all standardized so that they can be directly connected to the existing power supply lines and wiring harness.
