The Southbend SOU1010398 Thermostat is a temperature controller in commercial foodservice cooking equipment to stabilize and regulate internal heat. It has a range of operation of 150F to 550F and reacts to the temperature variation by its bulb-shaped sensing element to vary the system output. It has 1/2" NPT inlet and outlet connections and a 3/16" by 14-3/4" bulb assembly and fits into the control circuit of the appliance. This thermostat is an essential part of the entire system, as it is involved in the heat management, proper operation, and pressure of the components to temperature.
