The Southbend SOU4440367 Motor W/2-Flats CW 1-Pole 7.2/4.5 AMP is an electric motor that is designed to convert electrical power into rotational force in a single-pole design, rotating the shaft clockwise. It works through the control of current flow between 7.2 and 4.5 amps to ensure steady rotation as the two-flat shaft interface passes the torque to other parts. The motor is normally used on assemblies of compatible commercial kitchen equipment where controlled rotational movement is needed. In the two-flat shaft configuration, it is possible to safely couple it with gears or fans. It is built for constant use under electrical conditions.
