The Dean 8100583 Ball Valve controls fluid or gas movement through a connected piping line by turning an internal ball to open or close the passage. Its handle changes the ball position allowing the flow path to open or block as required during equipment operation. Designed with a 1-1/4-inch NPT connection the valve installs within a threaded plumbing section where flow requires control. Adjusting the handle positions the internal opening either open or closed. This is used in commercial cooking equipment plumbing systems during operation and servicing.
