The Franklin Chef 144720 Thermostat FDO is a temperature sensor and controller that is applied in commercial foodservice equipment. It works by sensing the temperature variation by its 3/16" by 14-3/4" sensing bulb and regulating the amount of heat circulated. It has 1/2" NPT inlet and outlet connections and is mounted in the thermal control circuit of the appliance. This thermostat can be used to ensure the correct operating temperatures in the cooking or holding process. It is a component of the system, and collaborates with heating elements, and control to maintain the same efficiency in a commercial kitchen setting.
