The Montague B-36 Thermostat W/Dial 3/16" X 11-5/8" X 48" Cap 150F-400F BJWA regulates heat by sensing temperature changes through a remote bulb connected to a capillary tube and converting those changes into electrical switching action. As the temperature rises or falls within the cooking chamber, the internal mechanism cycles connected heating elements on or off based on the selected dial setting. This control process maintains steady heat levels during operation. It is installed in commercial cooking equipment, with the sensing bulb placed inside the heated zone and the dial positioned on the control panel for adjustment.
