The Dynamic Cooking Systems 13007-01 Thermocouple is a flame-detecting system that is installed in commercial gas cooking equipment to detect the presence of pilot flames. It is placed next to the pilot assembly and produces a millivolt signal when hot enabling the gas valve to stay open during operation. This thermocouple is usually found in kitchen appliances where flame monitoring is required in a constant manner. The pilot flame terminates the signal and the flow of gas is stopped. The component is a part of the ignition safety system that assists in the stable operation.
