The Jade Range 4620100000 Convection Oven Thermocouple 18 inch 20-30 mV 1980 Series produces a low-voltage electrical signal when the sensing tip is hot which is detected by the oven to ensure the presence of flames. It reaches the combustion area. This thermocouple is mounted in the burner chamber, and the sensing end is placed in the flame path with the lead being connected to the gas valve or control board. It is used as a flame detector in the safety system of the oven.
