The Hobart 3-1108-5 Contactor 3-Pole 40/50A 208/240 V works by means of an electromagnetic coil to open and close electrical contacts to regulate the flow of electricity to equipment connected to it. It closes or opens circuits automatically as voltage is applied to the circuit, which ensures the correct chain of power flow. This is a contactor that is installed in commercial kitchen appliances and electrical panels where it can be mounted safely to connect three-phase power. Its size enables it to be placed in the standard control boxes and offer accessible terminal connections to be wired.
