The Southbend 4-NG41 Steam Kettle Contactor works by regulating amount of electrical current that passes through the steam kettle so that it can turn on or turn off heating elements when required. It operates on a 3-pole design with a 40/50A at 208/240 V switching the circuit when the control signal is activated. The contactor is intended to be mounted in electrical compartment of the steam kettle and used as a central part to control flow of power and coordinate the operation with other components of system.
