The Market Forge 97-5610 Convection Steamer Contactor 3-Pole 40/50A 208/240V works by placing an electrical circuit together to turn on the heating elements or steam generators when the thermostat requires warmth. It uses an electromagnetic coil to draw a group of heavy-duty contacts which allows the passage of high-voltage current through the terminals to the internal part. This electrical switch is mounted inside the main operator housing of the appliance. The component controls the power switching between 208 V and 240 V systems to ensure that the temperatures remain the same during the cooking process.
