The Southbend 1011599 Contactor 3-Pole 40/50A 208/240V is a part that opens and closes electrical contacts, to allow the flow of electricity to the braising pan when required. It operates the heating components of the pan by linking the circuits, when the pan is in use and breaking the circuits when the pan is not in use. This contactor is made to fit in the electrical compartment of the braising pan so that it is directly connected to the main power supply of the pan and is firmly fixed inside the unit.
