The Lang 30700-01 Contactor 3-Pole 40/50A 208/240 V is a part used to regulate the amount of electricity flowing to equipment connected to it, by opening and closing electrical circuits. It involves a coil to produce a magnetic field which causes contacts to move to enable current to flow through or be broken as required. This contactor is intended to be mounted in commercial kitchen appliances or industrial electrical panels, fitting easily in normal panels, to provide a centralized place to control power distribution and to make sure that the devices connected to it work in harmony with their control systems.
