The Southbend 4-CG42 Steam Kettle Contactor 3-Pole 40/50A 208/240 V is based on the conecpt of opening and closing electrical contacts with the support of an electromagnetic coil to enable the flow of power to the equipment connected. As the coil gets energized, the contacts are closed and when it gets de-energized, the contacts are opened to open the circuit. The part is to be mounted inside the appliances in the commercial kitchen or electrical panels where it can be fixed in place to be integrated with the existing wiring and control systems.
