The Blickman 60420 Contactor works by closing and opening electrical contacts with the support of an electromagnetic coil that opens and closes the contacts so that the current can pass to the equipment connected when energized. It has three poles with 40/50A at 208/240 V, which allows it to handle several circuits at a time. It is intended to be mounted in electrical panels or machinery, often on a DIN rail or a panel surface to allow the connections to be well placed, and also to allow installation and maintenance.
